Committees

In addition to the Board of Directors, the Foundation has approved the formation of several committees.  These committees exist to make and suggest plans and ideas to the Board of Directors and Executive Director ranging from policy and fundraising to outreach and events.  Their suggestions, once approved by the Board of Directors, are then often put into action by members of the committee.

The growth and success of our organization is tied to the efficacy of our committees.

Each committee has one Board of Directors member as its Board liason.  Any member of the public whether a volunteer in any other capacity or not is welcome to nominate themselves for a committee and help to grow our organization.

Committees include: Fundraising and Grants, Marketing and Outreach, Events, Educational programs, Facility Maintenance, Interpretive Panel Program, Archives, and Policy Review.
