Located beside the Boonsboro Visitor Center, the National Road Museum offers a small gift shop area for our visitors to purchase resources and souvenirs.
We slowly add new items to the selection, and hope that someday our selection will encourage every visitor to leave with some memento of their visit. Suggestions for things we can add to our gift shop products are always welcome.
The products offered in the store include both National Road and Trolley themed objects. While most items in the store support the National Road Heritage Foundation, some objects instead support the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Historical Society which partners with us in the operation of the Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum. Below are some of the items you might run across in the store.

Various National Road Museum themed souvenirsRight now we offer sticky note pads, a bookmark featuring our milemarker 119, and a refrigerator magnet. In the future we plan to add additional designs of these, as well as stickers, keychains, and more! |

Milemarker 65 “Personal Museum Exhibit”Guests can take home a part of our museum exhibit for themselves. Milemarker 65, currently on display in the theater, was damaged beyond repair when struck by a vehicle. When the surviving portions were brought to our museum, several flakes of the stone came free from the damaged surface. Since these fragments cannot be returned to the original stone, we collected them and the largest of these have been sealed inside of a small display frame and numbered. They come with a certificate of authenticity from the National Road Museum. |

Original Trolley Festival “#150” PinThe item supports the trolley society. Originally created as a souvenir fundraiser for the Myersville Trolley Festival, this new-old-stock lapel pin features Hagerstown & Frederick Railway trolley #150, which was the centerpiece of the festival. While displayed today inside of Myersville’s library, the real trolley spent most of its service life assigned to Hagerstown-Boonsboro passenger service.
