SUMMARY:May 30th - Historic National Road Yard Sale Saturday
DESCRIPTION:The week of May 27-31\, 2026 will be the week of the 23rd Annual\, over-800-mile\, Historic National Road Yard Sale Festival!  Residents and businesses from Baltimore to St. Louis are encouraged to set up their yard sales along the Historic byway. \nThere are two ways to set up in the yard sale:  hold your yard sale at our museum\, or let us know that you will be hosting your own sale! \n  \nSet Up With Us on May 30th \nOur first community yard sale in 2024\, during the 21st Annual National Road Yard Sale Festival. \nFor the third year in a row\, the National Road Museum in Boonsboro\, Maryland\, will be hosting yard sales on the museum grounds on SATURDAY\, MAY 30th ONLY.  \nRegister now to reserve your space!  Various size options available.  Vendors are asked to make a donation to the museum. \n  \nLet Us Know You Are Holding Your Own \nThis year we will also be compiling a list of other sales along the road in Maryland.  If you live within a block of US. Route 40\, Route 40 Alternate\, or Maryland Route 144\, consider hosting a yard sale one or many days between May 27 and 31 and let us know about it!  Register your sale with us in order to be added to that list. \nThe list will be shared on our website and social media\, and will be shared with the official facebook page for the 6-state event! \n  \nEither Way\, Register Today \nTo reserve your space or be added to the list of yard sales\, fill out the registration form. \nContact Reuben Moss at Director@NationalRdFoundation.org\, call the museum at 240-769-0898\, or use the form on our Contact page for inquiries. \n  \nAbout The Festival \nThe National Road Yard Sale Festival began in Indiana in 2003 as a way to bring communities together and put focus on the Historic National Road.  Every year during the week following Memorial Day\, deal hunters choose a section of the Road to travel and explore yard sales throughout the week.  Some sales are advertised beginning Wednesday\, with most happening Friday-Sunday\, and many communities participate in large ways. \nWhile some travel the Road in Maryland looking for sales\, our state has not been as involved or organized with this festival compared with Ohio\, Indiana\, and Illinois – but the National Road Heritage Foundation would like to make the Maryland end a destination!  Join us in making Maryland’s 170 miles of National Road Scenic Byway into a greater part of this festival. \nFollow the main event Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/nationalroadyardsaleUS40
