National Road Museum Open House Event

You Are Invited!

Visit the National Road Museum for a special preview of exhibits coming soon to the museum!

•  –  Enjoy a selection of near-full-size exhibit previews and a selection of artifacts which will be on display.
•  –  Learn about our progress and how YOU can be a part of this exciting and highly anticipated new museum opening in the fall.
•  –  Learn about the National Road with presentations by author and historian Bob Savitt
•  –  Special exhibition of National Road photographs.
•  –  Raffle with great local prizes including Hagerstown Flying Boxcars baseball tickets and signed Nora Roberts books.
•  –  Light refreshments will be provided.

–    The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum will be open next door, yard sales across six states will be taking place as the Historic National Road Yard Sale, and the final day of the Boonsboro Carnival at Shafer Park just behind the museum begins just as our event is ending.  The carnival’s live music performance that night will be Brickyard Road.
