We Invite You To Bring Your Tour Group To Boonsboro & Visit Our Museums!
Groups of all sizes are welcome to visit our museums! We can accommodate everything from home school group to a full motorcoach.
To better accommodate our guests, we request that groups of 10 or more be scheduled in advance, and may be requested for any day of the week.

Additional Information About Tours
- Submitting the above form does not confirm your tour, please allow us to confirm your request through a follow-up conversation.
- A fixed rate of $10/guest applies to scheduled tours. Special rate for school tours.
- For groups of 15 or more arriving on a charter bus, complimentary admission for bus driver and tour operator / tour escort.
- The National Road Museum offers three restrooms, including an ADA accessible family restroom.
- The National Road Museum is wheelchair accessible, the Boonsboro Trolley Station has not yet been made wheelchair accessible.
- Our facility offers a curbside unloading and loading area with a capacity for most large charter vehicles. We provide information for optional offsite bus parking and nearby fueling options.
- Limited street parking is available. Guest parking is provided in the Shafer Park Lot.
- Docent-guided tours are available for up to approximately 60 guests at one time, divided into groups of roughly 15 people. Self-guided tours also available.
- Suggested minimum visit length for docent-guided tours is 45 minutes, not including offload/onload time. For groups of 40 or more, we suggest scheduling longer visits of an hour to one hour fifteen minutes.
- We suggest that groups in excess of 60 individuals be divided between our facilities and other museums, amenities, or attractions in the area.
- Our museums are located adjacent to Shafer Park, which offers playground space, a baseball field, and pavilions which may be rented from the Town of Boonsboro for hosting group lunches or additional tour activities.
