You Are Invited!

Visit the National Road Museum for a special preview of exhibits coming soon to the museum!

  •  –  Enjoy a selection of near-full-size exhibit previews and a selection of artifacts which will be on display.
  •  –  Learn about our progress and how YOU can be a part of this exciting and highly anticipated new museum opening in the fall.
  •  –  Learn about the history of the National Road through presentations by author and historian Bob Savitt
  •  –  Special exhibition of National Road photographs.
  •  –  Raffle with great local prizes including Hagerstown Flying Boxcars game tickets and signed Nora Roberts books.
  •  –  Light refreshments will be provided.

–    The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum will be open next door.  At approximately noon, the James Shaull Wagon Train will pass by the museum, honoring the tradition and history of the road with a convoy of horse-drawn wagons and carriages!
