Student Volunteers

We partner with Boonsboro High School to provide opportunities for students to earn volunteer hours toward social studies and civics programs.

Students are usually partnered with our regular volunteers and shadow them through the day’s tours.

These student volunteers are given the opportunity to learn the history taught by our museums, which relates to their local community, regional economic history, and the development of our nation.  They also are given an opportunity to experience tasks related to hospitality, communication skills, and public engagement.
