Beyond Boonsboro, visitors looking for shopping experiences or shopping centers in the area can be directed to:

Shepherdstown – Historic college-town with downtown shops and eateries.

Beaver Creek – Three antique stores side by side along Rt. 40, a mile east of I-70

Williamsport – Quaint downtown with a few shops

Hagerstown Premium Outlets – Outlet mall with a variety of stores.

South End Shopping Center – Older strip mall with various shops and multiple thrift stores

Valley Mall – Hagerstown’s indoor shopping mall.

Pennsylvania Avenue / Maugansville – Various shops and several antique stores

Longmeadow Shopping Center – Strip mall with a few shops, chains, anchored by a Savers Thrift Store and Pennsylvania Dutch Market.

Garland Groh – Off of Rt. 40 just west if I-70.  Large strip mall with several major chains and restaurants.

Downtown Frederick – Take the Historic National Road east for about half an hour, historic Downtown Frederick is lined with unique shops and restaurants.  Travelers will pass through the more modern “Golden Mile” in Frederick lined with multiple strip malls filled with stores and restaurants on both sides of the street.
